OCD and Anxiety
Keyur H. Parikh, MD, is a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist who is board eligible in psychiatry. He specializes in pediatric psychiatry, working primarily with children and adolescents in inpatient and day treatment programs at Rogers Memorial Hospital--West Allis. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin and the Medical College of India, Dr. Parikh is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the Wisconsin Medical Society. He is a graduate of the Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College and VS Hospital in India and completed residency training in general surgery while there. He later completed residency and fellowship training with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), a residency in psychiatry at the MCW Affiliated Hospitals, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Dr. Parikh is a clinical assistant professor in the psychiatry department at MCW. He has a strong background in adult and pediatric emergency psychiatry through previous work at a freestanding emergency room. Previously, Dr. Parikh held a variety of positions working with child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s Hospital, with Milwaukee County and juvenile corrections. Dr. Parikh’s clinical interests include disorders pertaining to attention deficit hyperactivity, mood, psychosis, and anxiety. Dr. Parikh also holds a lifetime certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
