OCD and Anxiety
Jennifer R. King, MD, is a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist with Rogers Memorial Hospital who works with children and adolescents at our Brown Deer campus. After receiving her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in 1994, Dr. King completed her general psychiatry residency training and fellowship program in child and adolescent psychiatry at MCW affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee. In 1996, Dr. King was named an APA/CMHS Fellowship recipient, which is awarded by the American Psychiatric Association and funded by the Center for Mental Health Services to stimulate interest in providing quality and effective services to underserved populations.
Dr. King has worked in multiple behavioral healthcare settings in the metro Milwaukee area, including serving as a staff psychiatrist with Rogers' West Allis hospital in the mid-2000s. Prior to re-joining Rogers, Dr. King was in private outpatient practice and worked as a staff psychiatrist with two community health centers serving central city residents of Milwaukee. A member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. King is passionate about providing culturally competent psychiatric evaluations and treatment for the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
