OCD and Anxiety
Amy R. Mariaskin, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who serves as the clinical co-director at Rogers' Nashville location, providing supervision and training in the child and adolescent programs. Dr. Mariaskin specializes in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, phobias, tics, hair pulling and skin picking disorders. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Dr. Mariaskin received both her master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Duke University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Florida Health Science Center.
Dr. Mariaskin is also an adjunct professor in the psychology department at Vanderbilt University, where she provides clinical supervision to doctoral students. She also serves as a guest lecturer to the university's school of medicine students on psychotherapy for OCD and related disorders. In addition, Dr. Mariaskin is a frequent presenter to professional and lay audiences about OCD, anxiety and other mental health topics. Dr. Mariaskin is a member of the International OCD Foundation and the American Psychological Association.
