OCD and Anxiety
Adam Margolis, DNP, PMHNP-BC, ANP-BC, APNP, L.Ac, is a board-certified advanced practice nurse prescriber with a specialization in psychiatric mental health who works with children, adolescents and adults in partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs at Rogers' Brown Deer location. He is experienced in psychiatric medication management for mood disorders, psychotic disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders in pediatric and adult populations. Dr. Margolis received his Master of Science as an adult nurse practitioner from Marquette University College of Nursing in 2010, and his doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2013. In addition, Dr. Margolis earned a certificate in quality improvement, patient safety and leadership by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School (Cambridge, MA) in 2012.
He has an extensive background in the integration of physical and mental healthcare to promote wellness among patients. In addition to his clinical role at Rogers, Margolis also maintains an outpatient practice in Milwaukee and serves as an instructor at Alverno College School of Nursing. He has spoken regionally and nationally on the subject of integrative medicine and mental health.
